Man arrested for running over cop | The Express Tribune



LAHORE:

Police arrested on Tuesday a driver accused of running over and killing a police officer in the Kahna area two days ago.

Police said the incident occurred on Ring Road, where a police officer was waiting for transport when a speeding car hit him, resulting in his death.

Using CCTV footage, law enforcement identified the suspect as Nauman and apprehended him from the Defence area.

Police have also recovered the vehicle involved in the incident and have begun interrogating the suspect.

Further legal proceedings are underway.
