The court of Additional Sessions Judge Renala Khurd Shabrez Akhtar Raja has sentenced a criminal involved in child moelstation in Tehsil Renala Khurd of Okara to 14 years in prison and a fine of Rs1 million.

According to the details, the court sentenced the criminal Waseem to 14 years in prison and a fine of Rs1 million in the child molestation case.

According to the court’s decision, the criminal will have to serve another 6 months in prison for non-payment of the fine. The criminal Waseem lured an 11-year-old child to an orchard and raped him.

The Sadar Renala Police had arrested the accused in March 2022. On this decision of the court, DPO Okara Rashid Hidayat appreciated and congratulated the performance of the legal team. He said that the Okara Police will continue to take strict legal action against such criminals so that the protection of innocent children can be ensured.

Meanwhile, funeral prayers of Sepoy Muhammad Naeem, a resident of Hujra Shah Muqim town of Okara, who was martyred in the Jafar Express tragedy, were offered in his village of Hakim Imam Din.

A large number of civil and army officers attended the funeral prayers. The martyr was buried with military honors.
