A drug addict strangled his five-year-old daughter to death in Jaranwala area. The police arrested the accused on the spot.

In Chak No. 240 GB area, 37-year-old Zakir Hussain Wilayat, a drug addict, strangled his five-year-old daughter Aliha, who was preparing to sleep with his wife at night.

Naveed Ahmed reported to Rescue 15 after seeing the girl lying dead on bed. Mafia, the mother of the deceased, told the police that her husband put her daughter to bed at night and found her dead.

According to the police, the accused has confessed to the murder.
