Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run | The Express Tribune



LAHORE:

A 55-year-old man lost his life in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday morning near Jinnah Hospital Underpass.

According to Rescue 1122, the control room received a distress call, reporting that a pedestrian had been run over by a speeding vehicle while crossing the road.

The driver fled the scene, leaving the victim fatally injured. Emergency responders reached the location, but the man had already succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased was later identified as Muhammad Latif, son of Muhammad Yousuf. Rescue officials handed over the body to the police, who have launched an investigation to trace the vehicle and determine the circumstances of the accident.
