WASA to install 3.5MW solar system | The Express Tribune



LAHORE:

The Lahore Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) will install a solar system with a capacity of 3.5 megawatt this year besides purchasing 200 machines for improved service.

Managing Director Ghufran Ahmed shared this during a briefing on the ongoing projects under the Lahore Development Programme. A detailed discussion was held regarding the WASA master plan, including the agency’s revenue collection, complaint management system and solarisation initiatives.

Updates were shared on information technology reforms in WASA, including the introduction of rain, revenue and call centre dashboards.

Under the Lahore Development Program, WASA is progressing with its projects in two phases. The first phase involves the laying of 443km of sewage and 548km of water supply lines.
