Mumbai Indians outclassed Chennai Super Kings with a dominant nine-wicket victory in their latest IPL 2025 encounter, chasing down a 177-run target with ease in just 15.4 overs at a blistering run rate of 11.29.

After winning the toss and electing to field first, Mumbai restricted CSK to 176 for 5 in 20 overs. Ravindra Jadeja stood out for the Super Kings with an unbeaten 53 off 35 balls, supported by Shivam Dube, who struck a quickfire 50 off 32 deliveries.

Ayush Mhatre also chipped in with a brisk 32 from 15 balls. Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers for Mumbai, claiming 2 for 19 in his four overs.

In response, Mumbai’s batting unit made light work of the chase. Rohit Sharma anchored the innings with a commanding 76* off 45 balls, while Suryakumar Yadav blazed his way to 68* from just 30 deliveries, hitting six fours and five sixes in a dazzling display. The duo added an unbroken 129-run partnership to seal the win with 26 balls to spare.

Ryan Rickelton contributed 24 before falling to Jadeja, but his dismissal did little to slow the Mumbai juggernaut.
