Sharjah launches 1.6km walkway project in Khor Fakkan to promote active lifestyle

The new walkway has an average width of 4 metres and will wrap around Khorfakkan Hospital, passing through Al Bardi 6. It is designed to serve both the neighbourhood’s residents and hospital visitors, providing an ideal and safe environment for walking and jogging.
“High-quality materials of standard specifications are used to enhance users’ comfort,” the SRTA said.

As part of the project, about 5,000 square metres of green spaces will be landscaped with ornamental plants, in collaboration with Khor Fakkan Municipality and the Public Works Department.
