A popular X account, Karnataka Weather (@BengaluruRains_), sparked laughter and resonance when it posted a request for Trump to mediate with Bengaluru’s civic agencies.

The Ejipura flyover project, started in 2017, has faced continuous delays, becoming a traffic nightmare for commuters in central Bengaluru. Similarly, the Yellow Line — expected to link RV Road to Bommasandra — has been delayed multiple times, with missed deadlines frustrating daily metro users.

The post, while clearly satirical, struck a nerve with residents. Comments poured in, with many echoing grievances through humour.

One user quipped, “The moment Trump was asked to get the Ejipura flyover done, he said, ‘Ceasefire khatam lekin yeh flyover nahi ban sakta’ (The ceasefire can end but this flyover will not be completed).”
