Lahore police arrested a man for allegedly harassing a 12-year-old girl in Defence B area, following swift action on a 15 emergency helpline call.

The accused, identified as Tayyab, was arrested after he reportedly stopped the minor girl while she was returning home from a shop and made indecent gestures and asked her to get into his vehicle.

Under instructions from the SP, a special police team led by Sub-Inspector Jamshed was formed to track the accused.

The Defence B police traced and apprehended Tayyab, confirming his involvement in the act.
