Dubai Airports confirmed on Monday evening that operations have resumed at full capacity following a temporary suspension earlier in the day. However, it cautioned that passengers may still experience delays or cancellations and should check for updates directly with their carriers.
Airlines respond to airspace closures
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, said it is rerouting a number of flights on June 23 and 24 as a precaution. The airline is closely monitoring the evolving situation and advised customers to check their flight status on etihad.com.
Sharjah-based Air Arabia also issued an advisory, confirming some disruptions due to airspace restrictions. The airline said affected passengers will be notified via SMS and email and encouraged all travellers to check airarabia.com for the latest updates.
Meanwhile, Emirates airline confirmed that several flights were rerouted on June 23, though no diversions were ultimately required.
