Aziz in main round of FIP padel event | The Express Tribune

In an extraordinary display of skill and determination, Pakistan’s Aziz Khan made history by winning the first round of FIP International Bronze Tournament 2025 held in Hong Kong.

Khan’s impressive performance in the tournament included a decisive second round victory by 6-3, 6-1.

In the final round, Aziz scored a stunning 6-0, 6-0 win against China, securing his spot in the main draw.

This remarkable achievement marks a milestone for Pakistan in the world of padel, with Khan being the first Pakistani player to qualify for the main draw.

The Pakistan Padel Federation (PPF) President Muhammad Mateen and the entire federation extend their warmest congratulations to Aziz Khan on this outstanding accomplishment.

“Aziz Khan’s hard work, dedication, and passion have brought pride to our nation,” said [PPF President’s Muhammad Mateen]. “We are thrilled to see him shine on the international stage and look forward to his continued success.”

As Khan continues to make waves in the padel world, the Pakistan Padel Federation invites all Pakistanis to rally behind him and support his journey.

Earlier last month, Mohammed Aziz Khan (License # 174 PPF) became the first player to officially represent Pakistan in an FIP International event.

The International Padel Federation (FIP) officially published the participants’ list on its website, confirming Aziz Khan’s participation alongside his partner Sebastien Garcia Ortega from Belgium.

As part of his preparation, Aziz left early for Hong Kong where he underwent rigorous training under the supervision of an esteemed foreign coach.
