Child slaughtered over personal dispute | The Express Tribune

PAKPATTAN:

.A four-year-old child was murdered in the courtyard of his home in Pakpattan due to a longstanding personal feud.

The suspects slit the child’s throat with a sharp weapon, locked his blood-soaked body inside a room, and fled the scene.

The incident took place in the Malka area of Thana Malka Hans

Muhammad Bashir, a local laborer, had left his four-year-old son, Ali Husnain, playing at home while he went to work in the fields.

Seizing the opportunity, the accused attacked the innocent child in the courtyard, slaughtering him with a sharp object.

They then locked the severely wounded child inside a room, leaving him to die.

When family members searched for the missing boy, they heard faint cries from inside the locked room.

Upon breaking in, they found the child lying in a pool of blood.

He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case, naming a husband and wife as the main suspects.
