The funeral prayers for the three martyred in the Nangal Sahadan attack were offered here.
A large number of citizens, including political leaders and military officials, attended the funeral prayers.
The participants also chanted slogans on the occasion. Strict security arrangements were made for the gathering.
Senior officials also visited the injured at the Muridke Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.
According to officials, India had attacked the Umm Al-Qura mosque in Nangal Sahadan near Muridke with missiles overnight.
Maulana Abdul Malik, Muhammad Alam and Muhammad Mudassar were martyred in the attack, whose funeral prayers were offered at the Rana Tanveer Hussain Football Ground.
Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Punjab Police IG Usman Anwar, Sheikhupura RPO Athar Ismail, Lahore Commissioner Zaid bin Maqsood, Sheikhupura Deputy Commissioner Shahid Imran Marth, DPO Bilal Zafar Sheikh, political leaders, military officials and a large number of other people attended the funeral prayers led by Maulana Abdul Rauf.
After the funeral prayers were offered, the authorities sent the bodies to the native areas of the deceased.
