LAHORE:
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) recorded the statements of nine witnesses and adjourned till June 18 the proceedings of the Jinnah House attack case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders.
The ATC judge presided over the proceedings in jail where the prosecution got recorded the statements of witnesses, including doctors who had treated the injured and the magistrates who had conducted identification parade of the accused.
The judge had framed charges on 254 accused persons in the case, including former governor Umar Sarfraz Cheema, Ijaz Chaudhry, Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed and Alia Hamza. Party leader Dr Yasmeen Rashid had been discharged from the case.
Several police stations had registered FIRs against PTI leaders and workers over law and order, arson, anarchy, inciting people and other charges.
