CHAK JHUMRA:

A seven-year-old boy was allegedly subjected to sexual assault. According to the complaint filed by the mother of the victim, her son from her late husband was assaulted when her husband was away at work while she had stepped out for some errands.

She said Ali Raza, a resident of Chak 42GB, allegedly lured the boy to the veranda of a nearby government school and subjected him to sexual assault.

When her son failed to return home after an hour, she began searching for him. As she headed towards the school, she heard cries and rushed to the scene, where he informed her of the incident.

The Sahianwala police have registered a case and launched a manhunt for the suspect.

Meanwhile, police have arrested two men who detained a mentally challenged man and had his head shaved.

A case was registered against the arrested suspects. According to the FIR registered by Roshanwala police on the complaint of Shan, a resident of Ghousia Colony, his 18-year-old brother Shehbaz, who is mentally challenged, was taken by Khizar Hayat, Azam, Saif and Basra to a barber, where they forcibly shaved his head.
