Minor boy’s body recovered from drain | The Express Tribune



LAHORE:

Decomposed body of a 5-year-old boy who had been missing for four days, was recovered from a drain in Sanda area on Friday. Police have shifted the body for post-mortem and launched an investigation.

According to details, residents near T Number 5 spotted the child’s body floating in a drain and immediately informed the police.

Upon arrival, law enforcement, with the help of Edhi volunteers, retrieved the body and sent it for a forensic examination.

The deceased has been identified as Rashid, a five-year-old who mysteriously went missing four days ago.

Police officials stated that investigations are underway, and all possible aspects of the case are being examined. Authorities have assured that the real circumstances behind the child’s death will be uncovered soon.
