This has caused an uproar among Indian fans, many of whom took to social media to express their displeasure.
Images from the Indian cricket team’s official photoshoot have gone viral, featuring captain Rohit Sharma along with star players Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, and Arshdeep Singh wearing the new kit. However, the presence of “Pakistan” on their jerseys has grabbed the most attention.
Despite the backlash from some sections of Indian fans, the inclusion of Pakistan’s name follows ICC’s standard practice, where the host nation’s name is incorporated into official tournament branding.
