Earthquake of 5.5-magnitude hits Islamabad, parts of KP

A 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Islamabad and several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Seismic Network of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said in a statement on Friday.

The PMD said the quake struck at a depth of 195 kilometres, with its epicentre located in the Hindukush region.
