The Pakistan Super League (PSL) match scheduled for Thursday in Rawalpindi between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi has been postponed, according to reports.
The decision was made following a meeting between officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), team franchise owners, and players. The meeting reportedly discussed the evolving security situation and the impact of regional tensions.
Sources indicate that the PCB is considering relocating all remaining PSL 10 matches to Karachi to ensure player safety and reduce logistical complications.
Meanwhile, tensions between India and Pakistan escalated further on Thursday after a drone crashed near Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Security forces quickly sealed off the area, with initial reports suggesting the drone may have been used for surveillance.
