Three suspects, including two brothers, were arrested for their involvement in the recent murder of a citizen, Munir Khan, in the Sabzazar area of Lahore. The case, which had sparked concern in the locality, was taken up by DIG Investigation Lahore Syed Zeeshan Raza, who ordered a thorough investigation.

Acting on his directives, SP Investigation Iqbal Town Sidra Khan formed a special team to track down the culprits.

The in-charge of Sabzazar Investigation, along with the police team, successfully apprehended the suspects using modern technology and human intelligence.

According to police officials, the suspects gunned down Munir Khan over a domestic dispute and fled the scene immediately after the shooting.

SP Sidra Khan confirmed that all three accused are now in custody and a strong challan is being prepared to ensure they receive strict legal punishment.

DIG Zeeshan Raza reiterated the department’s commitment to dealing firmly with criminal elements. In recognition of their swift and effective action, SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed announced commendation certificates for the police team.

Meanwhile, DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza visited Mayo Hospital to inquire after Constable Akasha Butt, who was injured in a hit-and-run incident in Shahdara.
