Tourists visit five restored sites | The Express Tribune

LAHORE:

The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) on Sunday hosted a heritage tour of five recently restored historic sites.

The event aimed to highlight the conservation work to preserve the city’s cultural heritage, said a press release.

The tour started from Tollinton Market, where approximately 60 visitors gathered.

The journey continued to General Allard’s Tomb, a relic of Lahore’s colonial era, followed by a visit to Bradlaugh Hall, a site linked to the city’s political and intellectual history.

Participants then explored the Tomb of Anarkali, a historical and architectural gem steeped in legend. The tour concluded at the Wazir Khan Baradari, where an Iftar dinner was hosted.
