A woman’s attempt to board a moving train at Lahore Railway Station almost ended in disaster, but thanks to the quick actions of a railway police officer, her life was saved.

According to a spokesman for the Railway Police, the incident occurred when a family attempted to board the running Karakoram Express, Express News reported.

As the woman tried to climb aboard, she lost her footing and was about to fall under the train.

CCTV footage from the scene shows Constable Rafaqat Ali, who was on duty at the platform, rushing to the woman’s aid. He grabbed her just in time, preventing her from falling under the moving train.

The Railway Police officer’s swift response and presence of mind saved the woman from what could have been a fatal accident. The family, who was traveling from Lahore to Karachi, expressed their gratitude to Constable Rafaqat Ali for his heroic efforts.

The constable managed to stop the train and helped the family board safely. The woman and her family thanked the officer for his quick thinking and heroic action.
