YouTuber and content creator Rajab Butt is facing another legal challenge, as a new case has been filed against him under the PECA Act and Section 295-A, related to blasphemy.
The case was registered at Nishtar Colony Police Station after his recent perfume launch sparked controversy.
The perfume, titled ‘295’, has drawn criticism, with accusations that Butt disrespected blasphemy laws by referencing the late Indian singer Sidhu MooseWala, who was linked to similar legal issues.
The complaint, filed by Ramzan Bhatti, accuses Butt of making a provocative move by associating the number ‘295’ with his product, sparking anger from various communities.
Rajab Butt’s new case follows his earlier online controversies, which have now intensified due to this latest incident.
Social media reactions have been mixed, with many condemning the YouTuber for his actions, while others express support for his creative freedom.
Earlier, Rajab Butt, along with Mann Dogar and Haider Shah, has been booked for allegedly threatening TikToker Umer Fayyaz Butt.
The case was filed after they reportedly arrived at Umer Fayyaz’s house with armed individuals. The complaint, filed by Umer Fayyaz, accuses Dogar of using abusive language and issuing threats during a TikTok live session.
Umer Fayyaz, claiming the incident attacked his dignity, has sought legal action against Rajab Butt and his associates.
Police have confirmed that legal proceedings are underway. Rajab Butt, known for his family vlogs, has faced multiple legal issues, including a case in Karachi.
The dispute began when Umer Butt, during a live video with Maan Dogar, used foul language towards Rajab Butt’s family.
In response, Rajab Butt defended his family and threatened Umer and his brother Ali Butt, warning that he would expose their personal secrets if they continued their attacks.
